Grand Rapids is experiencing a wave of riverfront development with the potential to redefine the city’s landscape and community life. However, communicating the long-term benefits of these developments in a meaningful, engaging way required more than traditional updates—it needed a platform that could consistently connect with the community and elevate the voices behind the progress.


II. The Response

Truscott Rossman partnered with Grand Rapids-based organizations to launch the GR& Riverfront platform—an ongoing content initiative designed to highlight the positive transformation driven by riverfront development. By focusing on the people, partners, and stories behind the projects, we created a narrative framework that celebrates growth, fosters engagement, and builds long-term community trust.

Our approach prioritized multi-channel storytelling and frequent content generation, ensuring sustained visibility for the initiative while promoting transparency and community inclusion.
